Here are some things you will need for your Virtual Dog Training:
Have a plan for what behaviors you want to work on.
Prepare your training area with ample space to move around.
Ensure you have an internet connection, the Zoom app downloaded & your device set up where the camera is facing out (not in selfie mode)
Patience is key! Be sure to communicate your goals & any concerns with your trainer. Remember, not to be too hard on yourself or your pup!
Have your dog on a leash & secured in a safe, enclosed environment (i.e., living room with doors closed or backyard with gate locked)
If working with multiple dogs during the session, have a helper, if possible, to help manage the dogs.
If working with one dog, be sure to contain other pets who aren’t part of the session.
Having an additional person attend the session might be helpful with the training or holding/managing the device.
